Further capital injection! Danfoss Inaugurates New Production Line in Wuqing Development Area
On November 21, Danfoss (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. held the inauguration ceremony for the new BOCK compressor production line, titled "NEW BEGINNING,BOOST FUTURE".
Danfoss Group, one of Denmark's largest multinational industrial manufacturing companies, is a global leader in energy efficiency, electrification, digitization, and smart manufacturing. Since establishing its first wholly-owned subsidiary in China—Danfoss (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.—in the Wuqing Development Area in 1996, Danfoss Group has continued to increase investment and expand production, steadily growing its industrial presence in China. The completion of this new production line marks another significant step by Danfoss Group in advancing smart manufacturing and green development in China.
The new BOCK compressor production line by Danfoss leverages over 90 years of technical expertise from the BOCK brand and employs automated equipment and green manufacturing processes, delivering three core values to industry clients:
Firstly, it enhances responsiveness and service capabilities for the local market through an automated and intelligent manufacturing system.
Secondly, leveraging BOCK's leading expertise in CO₂ and low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) technologies, it drives the green and low-carbon transformation of the refrigeration industry.
Thirdly, by fully adhering to Danfoss’ globally unified ISO management standards and green manufacturing requirements, it establishes a benchmark for zero-carbon manufacturing, contributing to the industry’s sustainable development from the source.
Ralf Havermann, Global Head of Danfoss BOCK, stated in his speech: "The new production line marks a significant milestone for the BOCK brand. Since officially joining Danfoss in 2023, BOCK’s advanced technologies in areas such as CO₂ and low-GWP semi-hermetic piston compressors have been fully integrated into Danfoss’ existing product portfolio. This integration will further accelerate the global refrigeration industry's transition toward natural low-GWP refrigerants and advance the decarbonization process of the sector."
Xu Yang, President of Danfoss China, stated in his address: "With the completion of the new BOCK compressor production line as a fulcrum, Danfoss will usher in a new chapter of its 'In China, for China' localization strategy.
