Big News! The Tianjin iRIC Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics International Joint Innovation Center has Opened
On the afternoon of August 1st, experts in the fields of intelligent manufacturing and robotics, business elites, and representatives from investment institutions gathered in Wuqing Development Area to attend a hardcore technology feast themed "Inspire the Technology Ecological System of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and Build a New High Ground for Industrial Cooperation". They jointly witnessed the official opening of the Tianjin iRIC International Joint Innovation Center for Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics. Relevant officials from the Wuqing Science and Technology Bureau, Wuqing Investment Promotion Bureau, Wuqing Industry and Information Technology Bureau, and Wuqing Development Area attended the event.
To efficiently link "innovation" and "capital", the event launched a special project presentation. Six promising project presentations from companies such as Diman Shen (Shanghai) Robot Technology Co., Ltd., Kexian Intelligent Equipment (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., and Zhishen Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. successively took the stage, deeply focusing on high-tech fields such as intelligent manufacturing, robotics, and artificial intelligence, showcasing the huge potential of scientific and technological achievements moving from the laboratory to the industry, and receiving high attention from the on-site investment institutions.
Wuqing Development Area Co., Ltd.'s Party Secretary and General Manager Wang Jibin delivered a speech, expressing warm congratulations on the opening of the Tianjin iRIC International Joint Innovation Center for Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics, and sincerely welcoming the arrival of industry experts and entrepreneurs. He introduced that Wuqing Development Area is a national economic and technological development zone, a national high-tech industrial park, and the core area of Tianjin National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone. Currently, the park is focusing on intelligent technology and biomedicine as the "dual high leadership", developing new quality productive forces based on local conditions, and fully promoting the construction of the "New Industry City" of Wuqing, an industrial city between Beijing and Tianjin. We sincerely welcome entrepreneurs to focus their development attention on Wuqing Development Area. Yuan Jianjun, the chairman of iRIC Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics International Joint Innovation Center, introduced that the iRIC Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics International Joint Innovation Center was initiated by the backbone team of Shanghai Robot Research Institute and relied on resources such as Shanghai University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tsinghua University's Sino-Japanese Innovation Center, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Osaka University, and Nihon Keizai Shimbun. It has significant characteristics and advantages in robot kinematics, industrial robots, special robots, bionic robots, and mechanical equipment research, and is committed to creating a new model and new highland for joint innovation in the field of intelligent manufacturing and robotics. We will build a professional intelligent manufacturing and robotics scientific and technological innovation service platform integrating technology development, industrial agglomeration, scientific and technological services, investment and trade, and talent cultivation in the core area of the Wuqing Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industrial New City - International Enterprise Community H3 Building, layering and activating the regional industrial potential, and fully promoting the development of the intelligent manufacturing and robotics industrial cluster in Wuqing Development Area.
During the ceremony, iRIC Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics International Joint Innovation Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tianjin University of Technology's Continuing Education College and launched a talent joint training program.
