Recently, Novogene Tianjin Medical Laboratory, located in Wuqing Development Area, successfully passed the accreditation audit of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) with an excellent result of zero defects. This marks that the laboratory's quality management system and technical capabilities continue to maintain international advanced standards.
CAP accreditation is a globally recognized "gold standard" for medical laboratory quality management. Its evaluation system covers comprehensive requirements such as laboratory management, testing processes, personnel qualifications, equipment calibration, data analysis, and report accuracy. Passing the accreditation with zero defects again demonstrates that Novogene Tianjin Medical Laboratory consistently maintains international advanced standards in the standardization and accuracy of its quality management system, experimental technology, information analysis, and clinical interpretation. The inspection reports issued by Novogene are globally comparable and mutually recognized.
Since becoming the first NGS laboratory in China to pass CAP accreditation in February 2017, Novogene has always adhered to international standards, strictly followed CAP system requirements, and continuously improved laboratory testing quality and service capabilities. Over the years, the laboratory has continuously participated in high-value proficiency testing projects organized by CAP, such as NGS and NGSST, and passed the evaluation with full marks, fully demonstrating its efficient, high-quality, and stable technical strength.
