Officially awarded the plaque! Municipal Industry-Education Consortium!
On May 11, the launch ceremony for the 2025 Tianjin Vocational Education Activity Week took place at Tianjin Transportation Technical College. During the event, the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission presented awards to the second batch of regional industry-education consortia in the city, with the Wuqing Economic and Technological Development Area Intelligent Rail Transit Industry-Education Consortium (hereinafter referred to as the "Wuqing Development Area Intelligent Rail Transit Consortium") being among them.
Established in July 2024, the Wuqing Development Area Intelligent Rail Transit Consortium brings together over 40 member units, including leading enterprises in the rail transit sector such as the China Academy of Railway Sciences, Beijing Traffic Control Technology Co., Ltd., Harwick Technologies, and Krunes, as well as universities, colleges, and research institutions like Tianjin Railway Technical and Vocational College and the Tianjin Intelligent Rail Transit Research Institute. Adopting an operational management model of "Council + Secretariat," it has set up multiple working groups that hold regular consultation meetings to study and implement tasks related to industry-education integration. The consortium is executing a comprehensive strategy of "policy support + investment incubation + full-cycle services" to deepen school-enterprise cooperation and promote industry-education integration.
"In the next step, the Wuqing Development Area Intelligent Rail Transit Consortium will leverage its 'one institute, one alliance, and multiple platforms' to fully exert its functions and roles. It will comprehensively promote the high-quality development of the intelligent rail transit industry from aspects such as talent cultivation and recruitment, technological innovation, and enterprise services. Meanwhile, taking the opportunity of the Tianjin Vocational Education Activity Week, the consortium will actively explore a new model of 'industrial parks + vocational education,' continuously strengthen cooperation with universities, colleges, and research institutions, facilitate in-depth integration of industry, academia, research, and application, and form a new pattern featuring leading enterprises, aggregated innovation resources, a complete industrial chain, and integrated business forms. This will help build a nationally influential hub for the clustered development of the intelligent rail transit industry," stated a relevant official from the Wuqing Development Area.
