Multiple Parties Work Together to Create Synergy and Accelerate Project Construction!
On February 14, Ren Zhongqi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), led a delegation to the Wuqing Development Area. Both sides had an in-depth exchange regarding the promotion of the BUCT Wuqing Industry-University-Research Base Project and deepening cooperation. Liu Songlin, Vice District Chief of Wuqing District, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Jing-Jin Industrial New Town, and Director (concurrent) of the Management Committee of the Jing-Jin Industrial New Town (Wuqing Development Area Management Committee); Zhang Shaofeng, Deputy Director of the Wuqing District Science and Technology Bureau; Wang Jibin, General Manager of Wuqing Development Area Co., Ltd.; and Vice General Managers Xu Kun, Yuan Guangwei, and Leng Xin Xin attended the event.
The BUCT Wuqing Industry-University-Research Base Project is jointly built by Wuqing Development Area and Beijing BUCT Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. This project relies on BUCT's talent and technical advantages in biomanufacturing and life health fields, aiming at the long-term development needs of Wuqing Development Area's biopharmaceutical industry. Focusing on biomanufacturing and life health, it strives to create a platform for product research and development, technology transfer, and scientific and technological innovation services. It aims to connect the innovation chain of basic research, applied research, technological innovation, and technology transfer to achieve efficient conversion of scientific and technological achievements.
During the event, both parties went deep into the project construction site to understand the progress of the project and the construction arrangements in detail. They also held a symposium to coordinate and resolve difficulties and bottlenecks in the project's advancement process, working together to accelerate the construction of the project.
Ren Zhongqi stated, "Wuqing has a strong foundation in the biopharmaceutical industry with a complete upstream and downstream industrial chain, providing a good industrial ecosystem for the development of the project. Next, we will establish an on-site special team to ensure that the construction progress does not stop, and work with Wuqing Development Area to promote the rapid completion of the project, providing strong momentum for the high-quality development of Wuqing's biopharmaceutical industry."
Liu Songlin mentioned that the BUCT Wuqing Industry-University-Research Base Project is one of the key academician projects in Wuqing District and plays an important role in extending and upgrading the biopharmaceutical industry chain in Wuqing. We should take the coordinated development of the Jing-Jin region as a strategic guide and the construction of the Jing-Jin Industrial New Town as the overall leadership. By strengthening coordination and linkage, we will accelerate the construction process of the project, continuously increase policy support, actively help solve practical problems, ensure the early completion and production of the project, promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, and lay a solid foundation for building the 'Jing-Jin R&D, Wuqing Transfer' pattern.
Wang Jibin stated that Wuqing Development Area will continue to adhere to the concept of 'serving others is developing oneself' and provide full-process and 'one-stop' services for the project. At the same time, relying on the existing advantageous resources of the park, such as the International Health Industry Technology Research Institute, the International Health Industry Park, and the Synthetic Biology Industry Fund, we strive to build a good industrial ecosystem where resource elements gather rapidly, creating a first-class development environment.
