November 13-14, Swiss-China Innovation Center led 9 representatives of high-quality Swiss of high-tech entrepreneurship projects to Wuqing Development Area to carry out the "Swiss Innovative Enterprises China Tour" activity, in-depth visiting and exchanging in the park, and held the project roadshow.

Informal Discussion
At the informal discussion meeting, Yan Wenjie, deputy general manager of Wuqing Development Area Co., Ltd. on behalf of the park, warmly welcomed the arrival of the Swiss-China Innovation Center. He introduced that Wuqing Development Area, established in 1991, is a state-level economic and technological development Area, a state-level high-tech industrial park and the core area of Tianjin National Independent Innovation Demonstration Area. All the time, Wuqing Development Area has been adhering to the development concept of "innovation, coordination, green, open and sharing", vigorously developing an open economy, attracting a large number of high-quality foreign enterprises, including Swiss enterprises such as Bossard and Oerlikon. It is hoped that through this visit and exchange, the two sides can discuss cooperation and development together.
Feng Jianhua, director of the Swiss-China Innovation Center, said that the Swiss-China Innovation Center was established in 2017 under the initiative and guidance of the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland, and is committed to building an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem between China and Switzerland, promoting the organic combination of Chinese capital and Swiss technology, Chinese market and Swiss brands. At present, the Swiss-China Innovation Center has reached strategic partnerships with the Swiss National Innovation Park, the Swiss-China Scholar Technology Association, the Swiss-China Economic Association and the New Swiss Academy, radiating hundreds of top high-tech enterprises in Switzerland. "Swiss Innovative Enterprises Touring in China" is one of the brand activities of the center, and many high-quality Swiss enterprises have expressed a strong willingness to land in China. Wuqing Development Area has strong industrial foundation, perfect innovation ecology and excellent business environment. We hope that through this activity, the park and enterprises can find opportunities for cooperation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation.
The relevant responsible representatives of Wuqing Development Area introduced the development situation and investment environment of Wuqing Development Area in detail from the aspects of ecological environment, location and transportation, planning and layout, leading industries, innovation system, supporting policies, park services, etc., and answered the questions concerned by representatives of Swiss high-tech entrepreneurship projects one by one.

In the project roadshow, Wuqing Development Area invited nearly 20 investment institutions in the park and representatives of upstream and downstream related enterprises to participate. Nine representatives of Swiss high-tech entrepreneurship projects introduced the project, covering intelligent technology, biomedicine and other fields.

Visit
Finally, the SWiss-China Innovation Center Team visited Chase Sun Pharmaceutical, Novogene and BMC Medical respectively. Representatives of Swiss high-tech projects have said, "Through discussions, roadshows, visits and other rich forms, we have personally felt the innovation and entrepreneurship atmosphere of Wuqing Development Area, and have fully communicated with investment institutions and upstream and downstream enterprises. It was a worthwhile visit!"
At the next step, Wuqing Development Area will actively follow up the progress of the docking project, uphold the service concept of "serving others is developing themselves", and fully promote the landing of the project.At the same time, We will continue to open to the outside world at a high level, establish close ties with the China-Switzerland Innovation Center, continue to carry out exchanges between Chinese and Swiss enterprises,promote the work of attracting foreign investment in an all-round, frequent and vigorous manner,and strive to create new heights of innovation and opening up.
