The Overall plan area of Wuqing Development Area is 24.8 square kilometers.

 First stage development area is 6.4 square kilometers. It is consisted of 5 square kilometer industrial area, 0.8 square kilometer central area and 1.4 square kilometer of residential area which were founded in June of 1992 and completed in 2002.

 The development area for the second stage is 6.9 square kilometers. According to the development thought of “construction in advance, keeping contact with outside world, developing continuously by fully using the advantages”, the construction was started in July of 2002. It will be completed in 3 or 4 years and the investment invitation task will be finished at the same time.

 The third stage developing area is 5.9 square kilometers. It is to be completed before 2010.
